The amazon description is horrid they call death 2 The bed is full .
The only review is by some idiot who only likes pulp songs from 1995 .
So from what show is this taken ? How's the sound quality ?
The new fire remastars ( which is pretty OK almost manage to salvage freaks from that horrid reconrding studio ) which are avaible on deezer and so I'm able to hear them without paying fire directly . This new album is not on deezer and I don't feel like paying 7 pound and postage for something bad.
Thank you
Rotem ( who got a new Suede Bowie songs and the After you as birthday gift :) )
We've already got a thread on this album. It's the audio of the Stage One TV perfromance from 1991. It's complete, unlike the TV show, and is really excellent sound quality (taken from the mastertapes surely). It features a truly amazing version of Separations amongst it's many delights. I would heartily recommend it to anyone who hasn't yet purchased it.
You shouldn't be so against giving money to Fire - they did (finally) release some proper rarities last year after all. And, let's be fair, they weren't actually *that bad* to Pulp. Remember, Pulp were gonna record an album on Fire's money and then bugger off with said album to flog to the highest bidder.
It's just a bit pathetic how the only bidder was Fire!
