!!!!!! this is the best news EVER!!!!! do you think they'll start showing the vids when doors open or when the support was due to start? don't wanna miss anything!
Okay I've set twitter to text me all of their updates in case something is announced. If something does happen... fuck it I'll go and call in sick Sunday. People who now the leadmill well - do you think there's a good chance of two of us getting in without buying a ticket early if something special is announce? Debating whether to ask my sister to be on pulp watch all night.
Tell me about it Rosalie.... if anything is announce I can't buy tickets on my phone and I won't have access to a computer again before the gig. You know what, I'll decide then and there if I'm going. I think we have a good chance of getting it and if not, I'm supposed to be working sunday anyway.
I can't get twitter updates on my phone, as far as I know? Good plan, anyway. I'm with two friends so I'm not sure what we'll do, yet, unless something gets hinted earlier than tomorrow night.
I believe the Leadmill will be playing Pulp songs all night, at least that's what they implied. By the end of the evening they'll be playing Anorexic Beauty for the 15th time!
Thanks for putting the vid up ....we couldn't see them very well from our vantage point....even though we were right at the front ( but then I am waiting for new glasses)
Er, see Jazza's clip a couple of posts back. I was expecting a bit more footage of the band together to be honest.
I remember Hawley once wrote on his forum that he remembers Jarvis and Martin Wallace choosing material for the Home Movies part on the Hits DVD 10 years ago and there being tons of footage to choose from so it was a bit underwhelming and short I thought.
My only thought was that maybe they were trying to avoid any mention of past members. To be honest that film about the trip to Robin Hoods Bay, lovely as it was, held little, to none, Pulp interest whatsoever. It's quite difficult to watch a home movie of people you've never met.
Although I did really enjoy the first film but mostly because it reminded me of my childhood what with it being filmed in Castle Market and having the fish from the hole in the road fishtank in it as well.
Without doubt the longest one was that daytrip to Robin Hoods Bay one, there was the Catcliffe pottery one from Hits, 3 Spartans, one with Jarvis having a fight as a schoolkid, Shakespeare Rock, and the Castle Market film. Some of the people around me were getting very tired of them and the arena was FAR from full when they came on.
They used the performance from Songbook you had on the Portfolio! Yeah the best bit about the home movies was that it enabled us to get down near the front easy as nobody was about!
The laser, who was in charge of everything, told us the audio for Shakespeare Rock was taken from Songbook, which I recognised as I have all the audio's from that programme from the yahoo account.

Sorry Jazza, youtube links are just big gaps for me, so I must've scrolled past it. Thanks for your efforts there.
Fired up the VPN now, quite enjoyed that - it's just some kids messing around in the 70s, and one of them's Jarvis. Hope there's more on the DVD.
