There seems to be fuck-all hostels in Sheff too which is odd. It's a decent sized city.

There's a grubby etap thing just opposite the arena. Is that full? It looks like Borstal, but it is cheap.

I think when we investigated the "etap thing", though normally cheap, it wasn't when they realised there were thousands of people in town that day looking for beds. Like Easyjet at half term.

If you're looking for a no-frills place to stay (just dropping your bags off and crashing out after the concert), there are still some rooms here:

It's about a 15 minute walk from the city centre. Might be worth a shot. They only have single rooms left, and I don't know how many are left. They're likely to fill up quite quickly.

This is where I'm staying. Only £35 - half the price of the etap for a room, but if you're sharing I suppose it works out ok.
