I've just realised that I hadn't booked accommodation for the gig in December - I'm coming from Worcestershire which isn't the longest anyone even on here will be coming but didnt fancy the long drive back. The Ibis on the motorpoint centre didn't have enough parking spaces for me to risk getting there and not park and the premier inn was full. That Lenry Henry is a bastard.
So I'm in a Holiday Inn in Sheffield Center - I've just read the motorpoint only has 1000 parking spaces - but 13,500 capacity. What the hell is going on with that?! What will be the best way to get there and back? My hotel appears to be closest to Ponds Forge - so is the Super Tram the best option? I notice that theres a mention of park and ride on the website - perhaps this might be the best option - has anyone used this for an evening event before?
Tram for both of you. It runs from the Sheffield centre directly to the Arena and back again, all you need is the tram for Meadowhall. It's actually getting quite close now.
