Thought I would post about this as some of you may want to make a breakneck trip to Sheffield to see this new exhibition about Sheffield's excellent, and much under appreciated, Punk and Post Punk scene featuring record sleeves, fanzines and photographs. It only runs from this saturday (22nd Sep) to next Sunday (30th Sep) but it is free. I doubt there will be any Pulp content (although some artwork from Tim Allcard is featured) but you never know! Anyway, I'll be going to see it next week so I'll report back.
Went to see this and thought it was excellent. Lots of record sleeves, flyers and photos. Some Pulp content, covers of NMX on display (photocopied reviews from issues 21 and 22), but not too much. One interesting set of photos showed a band playing in the Wimpy on Fargate that I wasn't sure I'd seen before. If you are close and thinking of coming to see the exhibition I can really recommend it but it only goes on till this sunday.
