My friend's aunt is good friends with a member of Pulp (trying to be vauge just incase..), and he told me a couple of weeks ago that it's TOP SECRET, but there is deifnitely going to be a proper UK tour.
I kind of presumed he meant this year, but he didn't actually say. Anyway, that's it, pretty unimpressive really, but I felt it my duty to tell you lot. Said friend's aunt told him about the Brixton show before it was announced, so there could be some truth in it.
UK tour or just a few shows around Sheffield? I hope for the former but am expecting the latter!
If there is a 'tour' I can't imagine it being warts 'n' all tour of the country - not even a full arena tour, maybe they'd do one night at the MEN arena and one at the 02 Arena? ala Radiohead.
The date in France and possibly dates in other European countries make me more positive about this happening.
