I downloaded the updated numbers one and five, and the brand new thirteen and fourteen, but I also seem to have downloaded twelve, but I can't see any differences!
Liltman, cheers for the interest! As far as I'm aware, there's only ever been one upload of #12. It's the 8/11/86 gig and has had no additions/subtractions since the upload...
The one on the deluxe DC is the demo. The original b-side appeared on the Disco 2000 single. I was very surprised that the demo was included on the deluxe version as there is nothing wrong with the studio take. The main difference is the answerphone message sounds like it's actually taken from an answerphone! I can't seem to fine my Disco 2000 single but I'll have a look and upload it when I find it, if someone else doesn't do it first.
The only reason I can think Jarvis put the demo on the deluxe edition rather than the original is that compared to the HnH and TIH deluxes, DC was a wee bit light in terms of unreleased material. It would be nice to hear the rest of the demos from the various album sessions. At least we know they likely still exist.
I think the deluxe editions are worth the cost of buying for the wonderful pictures in the booklets and Jarvis's sleevenotes, and the music ain't bad either!
