Well, it's a different background and band arrangement than the one they've been using for the other shows as well. Maybe that long gap between now and December is for more rehearsals?
If Russell is doing it, I really hope it is because he genuinely wants to. Didn't really get the impression that he really enjoyed being on the stage again...save for the odd smile to the crowd now and again if he heard something he liked.
He seemed happier at some gigs than others, for instance Glasto seemed to agree with him a lot more than Wireless. I'm sure he wouldn't be doing it unless he wants to.
He was always going to be more inclined to enjoy ones with hardcore fans there like Glasto and Brixton, whereas a corporate festival like Wireless would probably remind him of why he left in the first place.
Remember though, he did state that he preferred playing festivals with 'the chance of getting booed off' than playing to people who'd lap up everything...

It's funny because when I read that it seemed contrary to everything I know about him and, indeed, had discussed with him once upon a time.
Well all bets on Russell being there are off now it's not even the last gig. I'd definitely bet on him not being part of this cruise ship bollocks though
