As any Russell devotees will know, the (reasonably) easily available version of Classee X has one song that the vinyl does not have (and vice versa). What is tempting about the - pretty hard to get - vinyl is that that song is called "St. Tropez". Was this an early version of the Venini track as sung by Baby B?

It seems not. It is subtitled 'Francis Lai' which led me to a 60 French guy from whom, presumably, Baby B (and Russell) decided to cover this original St. Tropez. R, presumably liking the title, kept it.

Here's the Francis Lai track anyway. If it tempts anyone to track down the Baby B vinyl and rip their version, then I'd love to hear it!

Also the Jane B single has a song called 'Jane X', an interesting interpretation of the album Jane B if you've heard it.

I had the file handy on my computer, so I've uploaded "Jane X" to the baritalia2007 account.
