Ah ha ha ha! That's awesome! It was 'Live Bed Show' they dropped for 'Underwear' (I wish I could have done the pun, "Dropped Underwear for Live Bed Show but so be it).
I'm glad SilenceRules has finally got that off their chest though. Although I suspect they have now gone back to their full time job, sitting under bridges as a goat deterrent.

Hello there. My sister decided to make the card before the gig and we put a packet of skittles inside. It was a funny message to thank them for reforming. We had no idea they'd end up playing the song we mentioned! Just think of all the other songs we could've mentioned instead...
Fortunately we were there on the 2nd night to hear SSC in all its glory!

It must have been fairly intense having your card read and acted upon! That this band have such a relationship with their fans is why sites like this exist. Sure, I'm not overly fond of Underwear anymore - I've loved it too hard in the past - but their apparent spontaneity only added to the atmospherre of the occasion. And S:SC was dropped from the encores rather than the body of the set anyway, as has been stated.
Too bad the Srpski Jeb placards weren't acted upon too...
Nice one! Must be wonderful for you to have the bootleg of him reading it out! I threw a card onstage on the second night requesting them to play SSC. Jarvis gets it at the start of 'The Trees' on the bootleg, but after opening it he put it to one side saying he'd "come back to it later". Sadly he didn't. Which is a shame as it was one of those talking cards and had a Dalek's voice.
They could have done 'Refuse to be Blind' with that effect.
