A documentary about the band Pulp's long rise to mid-90's triumph
"Not only is The Beat Is The Law - Fanfare For The Common People excellent pop history, it is compelling social history" Mojo Magazine. Follow seminal pop misfits/messiahs Pulp on a journey from the darkest industrial depths of Sheffield, through Margaret Thatchers turbulent 80s to the pinnacle of pop. This sequel to Made In Sheffield, known colloquially as the Pulp documentary, is a history of the amazing Sheffield music scene, from early 80's post-punk through the globe-conquering house boom and into Britpop. With Pulp as the through-line, the film also delves into the political and economic realities underlying the music, culminating with Pulps underdog triumph at the 1995 Glastonbury Festival, an achievement that 12 years earlier seemed like an impossible dream.

They are touring USA but I think this and Jarvis' comment about recruiting us for their next tour at the RAH is a clear indication that they will do more concerts other than those planned. I also read somewhere about a 'world tour' but as it stands I wouldn't classify a few concerts in America a world tour
It does state '2012 tour' suggesting it won't go into next year as well. Jazza they're doing USA, Mexico, Romania, Spain, Finland and Italy so far. That makes it a world tour as far as Pulp are concerned!
really? Mexico, Spain and Italy I knew about but when did they announce Finland and Romania? Anyway this doesn't mean there's no pulp in 2013 because they can't have a competition that goes on for over a year
