Good interview, I always feel that Russell is very eloquent talking about Sheffield in pieces like these. I did note that the thorny issue of more Pulp isn't broached and there is also no categorical statement regarding whether he will ever return.
Well if he doesn't want to put it online for everyone to read for free I'm sure he'd get a couple of dozen sales off folk on here if he only sells a paper edition.

Indeed. Absolutely wonderful. And it reminded me today of quite why it is Pulp still need Russell. After he'd pulled out of the NME awards thing, I wasn't sure they should carry his reluctance anymore, but this interview reminds me of why they should!
I really enjoyed it too, now that I've actually had time to read it properly. I have never known that much about Russell beyond knowing he was very politically motivated.
