I like the photo of Nick and Mark at bottom right.

I do have a copy. It was me who created the screencaps.

Tricia, I can put it on YouTube for you, I'm assuming that would be of interest?

It would be of interest to me, as I missed them at the time.

The interview was broadcast in four parts. The video below contains the first three:

This is the last part:

And this was on the same tape, so I thought I might as well add it as well:

Cheers Will, I had never seen any of that. I think they must have done that (better imo) interview for The Ozone programme at the same time. (I think Will also posted that on youtube before).

Island certainly did their fair share of Breakfast tv promo for that comeback didn't they? Still seems strange though that Help The Aged was the only single released between Common People and the end that didn't come out in multi-format.

Haven't watched it yet but just about to. Thank you so much for uploading this, Will. I definitely never saw this. I didn't even know they did an appearance on it in 1997. If I did I'm sure I would've shoved a tape in the recorder before school

Bit off topic but I remember taping Jarvis on Live & Kicking in Nov 1997 and the disjuncture between being on a kids programme and then reading the Select interview around that time where he's talking about porn and other adult content

There was an even earlier appearance by Jarvis on Live & Kicking c. 1995. If memory serves they played Disco 2000 and Andi Peters asked Jarvis to fix his bike.

I also seem to remember Trevor and Simon playing 'For the love of the Common People' by Paul Young at him in their shop...
