There are a lot of spaniels out there called Jarivs, but this one does seem particularly adorable.

"Internet sensation.... ...hundreds have logged into youtube to see him"

A few hundred views on youtube makes you an "internet sensation"?

That's so cruel taking a dog to the Stadium of Light. Poor Jarvis. Betraying my football allegiances here!

Now to confess the extent of my confused identity. So we moved from Sheffield to the North East when I was 6, I hadn't really grasped the existence of football at that stage despite being born during the World Cup (you know, the one we won). The next May, Sunderland were in the cup final, which caused a great deal of excitment at school and joy of joys, they won. So technically, Sunderland were the first team I ever supported, not that I've ever been there or have any meaningful connection with the place. But then, the very next year, Newcastle were in the cup final, I didn't forgive Liverpool for a good 20 years at least. No-one explained to me then as an 8 year old girl from Yorkshire that it is not allowed to support Newcastle and Sunderland at the same time.

For those of you that are concerned, Jarvis the spaniel was spotted here at an away match at QPR, seems he gets left at home for home games.
