Apart from winning the mercury music award (and being nominated a few times), as well as being nominated for several brit awards, what actual awards have Pulp/ Dr. Jarvis actually won?

Eerie, I was just about to start a similar thread!

Pulp won an Ivor Novello Award for 'A Little Soul'.
They won something at either the 1994 or '95 NME Awards, can anyone verify that?
And I think they may have won a Q award for Best Live Act in 1996.
Will/Mark should be able to clear that up.

They were nominated for three or four Brit Awards in 1996, didn't win anything (apart from an extra couple of hundred thousand sales of Different Class after Jarvis's stage invasion). Jarvis was nominated for Best Male in 2007.
Pipped at the post at the '94 Mercury Prize (though, presumably they wouldn't have got it in '96 if they'd already won it previously). TIH was also nominated in '98.
And then in the music press albums of the year lists, Different Class was number one in quite a few publications and This Is Hardcore must have been in one or two aswell.

Anyone have anything else?

The reason I was thinking about this lately is that looking at the old ''heritage acts'' that Mojo and Q haul out for their awards ceremonies for awards like ''Innovators'' or ''Pioneers'' or ''Influential Act'', I would be very surprised if Pulp were not approached to accept one such award this year. Their virtual blanket ban on all media inquiries this year probably put the kibosh on it.

The radio programme won an award, did it not? (if that counts)

Nowt to do with his own music though.

The first solo album was nominated for a South Bank record of the year in 2007 aswell. He played a great version of ''I Will Kill Again'' with (I think) Simon Stafford at the piano. Sadly not on youtbe I don't think.
