As you can see, chronologically we've neatly fallen into a time period of demos. Lots of 'em. And cracking quality too, especially 'Sudan Gerri' which, at 12 tracks, is a fascinating album-shaped bridge between It and Freaks.
I'd prepared a nice picture of Jarvis and Tim for this 'release' as it's particularly nice, but given Russell's large amount of lead vocals this time 'round, I thought we should highlight him.
Pulp Portfolio 3 to follow soon, I imagine. Unless I get anything new in the meantime, it'll be the December '84 Leadmill gig and March '85 Hallamshire one.
Also meant to say that, this time, all of the tracks are available in the upload as I don't believe any are currently commercially available.
And if anyone downloads this and thinks "Hmm...I've got a better quality copy of such and such a track" on this, then do please let me know and I'll upgrade the file.
I'm having loads of problems downloading anything via Megaupload, can't get either this wonderfulness or number 1! Does anyone have any other way I can get hold?
Maybe Sendspace? Might be a passing problem, I'll try these links again tomorrow. Would they be able to go in the Bar Italia Yahoo account? Well done for doing them by the way, they're a great way to plug some of the gaps I have in my collection.
