This is going to sound weird but did Russell design a board game? I swear I read it somewhere but it could have just as easily been a dream (I have a history of strange Russell related dreams) and can't find it anywhere on the internet.

He was planning on doing so, think it was called The Property Ladder.
I think that was back in the early '90s but I don't think anything came of it.

He was writing a novel a couple of years ago, I hope that doesn't get shelved too.

He worked on it for quite a while - apparently he was still tinkering around with it during the final studio sessions in '96 before he left. Don't think it ever went into production though.

You don't realise unless you look in charity shops how many good board games fall by the wayside and are quickly forgotten. I'm a board game geek. What can I say?

Talking of board games, I came across this on Twitter the other week, I am even tempted to send off for it, the board game that is, not the app thing, far too hi-tech for me. And I learnt what NSFW in the original tweet means, from one of those urban dictionary things.

nice: "we think he's a God in human form" - a sentiment shared by all. Also when he says "It's that or silence" I'm guessing he's not referring to the song, right?
