Okay so sorry if this has been a topic already, but has anyone successfully sent Jarvis fan mail recently and if so could they kindly tell me what address I should send something for him to?

Thanks in advance.

Just a suggestion, but you could try either via Broadcasting House, where Jarvis hosts his radio show.

BBC Broadcasting House
Portland Place
UK
London
W1A 1AA

Or Rough Trade

Rough Trade Records
66 Golborne Road
London
W10 5PS

Don't send anything to the BBC address, it will not get read and will almost certainly never reach Jarvis.

Rough Trade is the best bet, but still unlikely it'll actually get through.

actually I'm trying to send a package but I don't want to risk having it sent and not being delivered. I might try the rough trade address though.

I could...but I live in America. Which is another reason I want to make sure it's going to get delivered because it might not be the cheapest thing to send a package to the UK. ACTUALLY I'm including something for Jarvis but the package is for Steve and since I have absolutely no clue how to get it to him I thought I'd send it to Jarvis and ask him to pass it along.

Maybe I'm getting a bit too crazy here.

He has talked a couple of times on the radio about things people have sent him, someone sent him a record quite recently that he played something from on the programme. And I vaguely remember someone sending him a book a while back. But they were things fairly related to the programme, so maybe that made a difference??

If anyone cares to know, I sent the package to the BBC address from here in America and finally received confirmation that Jarvis got the package so i dunno about just letters, but packages seem to make it.

Rough Trade Management is your best bet I think.

well. i sent the package in October and I never got a reply so I e-mailed his show's e-mail and he had someone reply saying he'd got it but also that he'd passed on some of the contents to Steve like I'd asked so I'm pretty pleased all around

To get stuff to Steve, his son is on Myspace - so just should have messaged him.

Oh I would have felt very weird messaging Marley on any social networking platform and it all worked out in the end. I knitted them both scarves and I sent Jarvis a George Harrison album and Steve a Christoph de Babalon CD

Ooh...which album? Was there a reason for a Harrison album...?

oh yeah it was "Living in the Material World" because I had e-mailed him about it on his show once and he said he wasn't familiar with it
