Really? This is TREMENDOUS news! After Wireless and Brixton were so spectacular I feared this would be it and have spent all day forlornly listening to His n Hers as a bit of a tribute. Hooray! *steadies self and reaches for credit card*
I get regular emails from Ents24 'alerting' me of 'Jarvis Cocker tour dates' - they rarely have any substance to them, just an excuse to send me a load of old rubbbish I'm not interested in. So maybe we should listen to Eamonn for now.
After Jarvis saying about how much last nights show meant to them/how we may never see them again, I'd say it was VERY unlikely that some new dates had been lined up the very next day!! If they ever do more shows I reckon they'll at least have a few months off first.
Though Jarvis said "It may be the last time we see you here". Which you can punctuate one of two ways. "You may be, here, seeing us for the last time" (not true for some, definitely, anyway) or "This may be our last performance at this venue".

But if it was the latter, why would he bother saying it at all? Why would the band decide never to play Brixton again? And he quite obviously wasn't joking around, when he said it, I'm almost certain that he was saying that this could very possibly be The End.
