Yeah, spotting telly involvement with Isle of Wight Festival was most exciting part of putting together this blog post, although hearing Nick Cave's version of Disco 2000 was a close second.

Both his versions are ace! I hope they show a fair chunk of the set. Shame there isn't some radio or TV broadcast of Primavera or Wireless on the cards

haha yeah ITV shouldn't be allowed to broadcast festivals, I saw their coverage of Isle Of Wight a year or two ago and its appalling. you get a bunch of interviews or something that isn't a band performing. then one song by a big band they've been bragging about showing for the last hour, then an ad break. sod that

and here in Oz they have Channel V and Triple j who always record festivals...no doubt some footage will surface!

It's a shame that Pulp will be on before the Foos, which means no encore right?

In other things, IOW will have a "Disco 2000" which sounds fun, whatever that may be.

Anyone fancy meeting up? I'll be working there but will be have spare time to see Pulp of course...
