Oh good, one of my Pulp predictions for 2011 has come true already. I knew yer man Gerard the singer was a big Pulp fan, thought they might do a cover alright.

Can't view it outside the UK though.

Pretty tidy cover I thought. Much better than the Keane version of Disco 2000.

Nick Cave does a better version or two of Disco 2000 than this one.

This could be excellent publicity for Pulp.
Love the way the guitarist mimics some of Russell's violin lines, particularly in the doof doof doof bit, which were present live & in session but not when it got Chris Thomasified.
(Having said that, most of the production on DC & TIH is ace)
