Let us know if you're paid up for a forthcoming Pulp gig!

The missus and I have just got our two half price tickets for Hyde Park via Barclaycard - good thing they're half price too, as the service charges and postage were over a tenner! Cheeky.

I was in at 9am on the dot, kept refreshing the page until the link appeared... apparently they had all gone at 9.04...

There'll be plenty on general sale on Friday, obviously just more expensive.

wow
I was lucky then cos I wasn't being exact on the timings, and was just going to do it 'shortly after' nine - but refreshed the page at about a minute past and got tickets.

Don't have a barclaycard but bought my ticket at full whack using the Vodafone 48 hour advance thingy.

Is the capacity for Wireless something like 30,000? Likely to sell out fast? I guess being bang in the middle of London it should do.

Got my 2-4-1 tickets too. A friend just tried and all sold out on the 2-4-1 so glad I was refreshing at 9AM.

Can't wait.

I couldn't concentrate at work on Monday morning because I was so suprised and excited.

It's going to be a long six months. Still, gives an excuse for a weekend in London. I'm still hoping for a gig nearer to home too to go to but that's being greedy.

Looks like a lot of work has been put into the new website - surely its more than a few gigs?

There are now tickets available again on the barclaycard unwind site - sadly now at full price, but you can buy 6. Somewhat confusingly you also need to be registered with Ticketmaster to complete the purchase, and be registered with barclaycard to make on-line purchases (15 character security code and all that).

All seemed terribly unwieldy, but Ticketmaster and Barclays are a bunch of ****s, so perhaps not surprising...

I'm being very brave and holding out for more dates. I'm going to Glasto and then a few days after I get back I'm travelling down to London to see The Flaming Lips. Another trip to London 2 days after may be a bit excessive and I'd never get the extra time needed off work.

So I have everything crossable tightly crossed that there will be more dates - If not local then I'd happily travel elsewhere provided it doesn't clash with my busy summer schedule - although Glastonbury would be very convenient!

Us non-Barclaycarders have to wait, unfortunately. So my fingers need to be crossed a while longer.
Incidently, can you buy just a Sunday ticket? & how much (tho' obviously I'd sell my kidneys!).

I would have thought that Glastonbury is a pretty safe bet (and am gutted I'm not going)
I do also think that an arena tour is likely. If they've gone to all the trouble of reforming, and getting Russell on board, then they're surely going to want to make some money out of it? If it was just a 'one off' then doing two dates also seems counterintuitive.

Hyde Park can take more like 150,000 according to Wikipedia so don't panic too much (:

In theory I have tickets - but have any of you who chose Ticketfast been able to print out your tickets yet? My friend in the UK bought us 2 of the half-price tickets and 6 of the full price through Barclay's this morning but Ticketmaster is saying ticket delivery will be delayed and they should be available within 24 hours. Of course I'm paranoid that it's because there is some ticket limit, though it doesn't say so on the event page.

I didn't see the point of printing them - it wasn't any cheaper than getting official tickets delivered to my door...

I think I'm correct in saying you could only buy a ticket for Sunday so far, £48.50 plus postage/admin/whatever other surcharges they can dream up.

If I don't manage to get tickets tomorrow...I will cry forever. The barclay card website literally wouldn't accept my card today. I could have cried, forever.

I never thought I'd be asking this question, but here it goes! As a Canadian gal desperate to see them, I wonder should I buy a ticket to Hyde Park, or wait to see about Glastonbury? I've never been to London, so I'm not sure which festival would be best.  How much does Glastonbury typically cost and what month?

Thanks guys! biggrin

edit: Google informs me that Glastonbury 2011 is already sold out and about 175GBP

I think those are the regular prices by the way!

I can't believe I'm actually going to see Pulp live... I've been listening to them for 15 years now!
