I've decided to get off my arse and finish off the website called "Sunrise" (previously "Northern Souls" that has been sat on my hard drive for the past 9 years! The aim of the site is to provide something other than the obligatory news/lyrics/discography - this has all been done elsewhere. It will contain reviews and fan submitted articles plus anything else I can think of that isn't really covered already.
Only problem is, I can't think of what to call it. Originally, I wanted to call it "Masters of the Universe" but this was done elsewhere. I am currently torn between "Glory Days" and "Sorted!" but have a few other ideas which I have included in this poll.
If you want to suggest something not in the list, then feel free to do so by replying.
Northern Souls has too much of a The Verve connotation for me. Sorted! would be more right for a news/lyrics/discography site, so I'd go with Glory Days. Since the Glory Days are behind us, for the matter of Pulp. And it is a Dutch nostalgic thing to say: "Back in my glory days...."

Many thanks for the suggestions. I'm currently using the working title "Glory Days" so I might stick with that but I think "Live On" would be good as well. Although I think "Cocaine Socialism" is a good title, I really don't think plastering the word "Cocaine" all over the internet would be a good idea.
"Sorted", I agree, would be a good title for a News/Lyrics/Discography website so that one's out of the window. However, the site will include a basic UK discography for review purposes as well as details of the lesser-known remixes. I have no intention to do a list of promos because there is huge list on Acrylic Afternoons, I'll only be listing songs/remixes that are on the promos and don't have a commercially released counterpart.
There will not be a lyrics section but there will be reviews and trivia for every Pulp song I have ever heard including side-projects such as Relaxed Muscle and A Touch of Glass. If people want lyrics, I'll send them to Pulp Wiki.
There will definitely not be a forum. Instead, I will send people here.
I have a few good photos that I can no longer seem to find on the web, these will be there too.
I have decided to completely redesign the site because the "Sunrise" layout from 2001 is very schoolboy-ish. Therefore, I severely doubt I will continue using that title (however, if there's enough space, I will upload the "latest" versions of "Sunrise" and "Northern Souls" so you can all have a look).
If anyone has any ideas/suggestions just get in touch. I'm on the lookout for articles if anyone fancies writing one...

Right, I have decided on the name... unsurprisingly, my website will be called "Glory Days"
I came up with a nice design the other night that used a combination of the artwork from "This is Hardcore" (album) and "OU" but that's been shelved because it was a bit too much like PulpWiki in places. I'm working on a new design now.
I've also noticed that some of the content I had on "Sunrise" was, again, very schoolboy-ish so that's getting replaced.
I'm currently looking at a "Go Live" date of late April/early May (sneak preview as soon as I finish a suitable design) but it could be sooner!
Even though I really like "cocaine socialism" cuz it's provocative and on the edge but it's of cores hard to get away with.. "Live on" is quite suitable, isn't it? Cause thats what we want Pulp and their music to do.
Well, the Glory Days have been delayed; it's a month past the intended go live date. I've got quite a lot on but will get this site finished in a couple of months. Here's a sneak preview:
Just to get a couple of things cleared up first. There will not be lyrics on the song list unless they are unavailable elsewhere or I have transcribed them myself. The discography will contain information and reviews but will not contain details of promos or imports because this information is available elsewhere. The purpose of this website is to offer fans something different to the other Pulp websites.
Thanks for the offer but it won't be the sort of site that requires administrators but contributions will be more than welcome (there will be a form on the site for people to submit reviews/articles/info etc)
I have not got round to that bit yet but what I had in mind was some sort of submission form which would then be approved by myself and posted on the site. That may very well change though, I'll keep you informed.
