God that is tragic news. The poor fella. And he'd only become a dad for the first time a few weeks ago?
Great guitarist, loved his interpretations of Pulp songs when he played acoustic gigs with Jarvis last year. Jarv and Richard, who I saw play here in Madrid last weekend, must be devastated. As well as his poor, poor partner. God bless her and Tim's family.
Terrible, terrible news. Hard to know what to say really.
It's been posted before, but here's the video of the great 6Music session and interview that Tim did with Jarvis a few months back: http://www.bbc.co.uk/6music/events/hub/artists/jarvis3.shtml
A real talent, and by all accounts a lovely bloke as well. Very, very sad.

Not the best way to start a Saturday morning. Just thinking back to the crazy week following Jarvis & Co around Australia at the end of last year and how amazing Tim was every night. And not getting angry at me for playing with his floor pedals in Adelaide as we were sitting on the stage. Huge huge shock.
Great write up of Tim. Not sure who its by, but I think it might be Ross. I thought at first it might have been Mr Hawley or Mr Cocker, but it talks about him being on stage in Australia....
what a sad loss - my thoughts, like everyone else's, are with his friends and family
When I read the article earlier it wasn't credited - though that has now been altered. Also, it was longer and it mentioned the recent Australia tour. It now seems that a second (shorter) section including the Australia reference was included in the same document, which is now listed separately and credited to Jarvis Cocker - though the link is broken!
