A few of my friends and I are very excited with Jarvis coming back to Australia for a tour, and my friend is Djing at a Britpop club night here in Sydney, so I decided to scan Jarvis in from one of the Different Class tour books and make a cardboard standee of him....ala Different Class sleeve.

I posted some pictures on my facebook, thought you guys might be keen on seeing them.

Also with Jarvis coming back, I am having a week off work and seeing him in Brisbane, Sydney, Adelaide and Melbourne. Cannot wait!

Jarvis's Australian tour has been going ever so well.

Saw him in Brisbane on Saturday, Sydney on Monday and then I am off too Radalaide tomorrow and Melbourne on Friday.

He has been giving out loads of chocolates and beer to the audience.

I have been taking plenty of photos and hope to put them up when I get back to Sydney.

All the band seem pretty happy to be here and Martin Craft has been flying the flag high!

No Girls Like it Too yet. But from a friend in Perth on Tuesday night he played a cover of 'Crystal Ship' by the doors.

I did however attain Steve M's setlist from Monday.

I would really like to hear One Man Show again....

anyone going to the Melbourne show? and or Adalaide?

Can't wait for tomorrow night.... I am not going to be able to sleep tonight :D

Did anyone else hear the rumour that Jarvis wil guest on ABC's 'spicks and specks' final show for the year on 20th Dec? (obviously just been pre-recorded)?

Wow what a week and Jarvis in Melbourne last night was fab. I saw 4 shows on this tour and I have to say Melbourne he seemed to be the most energetic. Unfortunately Steve almost got wiped out by Jarvis after his coat got caught on his mic stand. There were items going everywhere, even his glasses.
For a minute there I thought he was going to sing Dishes because he mentioned it....

Adelaide was the most surreal experience. I flew in with a friend of mine from Sydney and we were pretty excited because the venue was rather intimate. Basically it was a pub with a beer garden. We sat on the stage whilst Jarvis marched around, gave us chocolate, drank my cider (that was exciting) and somehow I got a hold of his mic and sang a chorus from a Hall and Oates song. Don't ask why, actually we had been on a bit of a pub crawl through the streets of Adelaide.......... also for the first time on tour Jarvis shoes came off....and out came the chocolates again. Was this tour sponsored by Cadbury?
The venue was so tiny that we had a chat to Steve at the bar whilst he was ordering dinner.... Had to ask about how Martin came to be in the band because he is Australian and used to be in the most excellent Australian band called Sidewinder.

Sydney show was rad. Hometown show for me, so it mean't not sitting on a plane. Jarvis gave me his Stella which is still sitting (with a tiny amount of beer in it - yuk!) on the top of my CD cupboard. I am either going to grow myself mini Jarvis bugs or use it as a vase.

Brisbane show was the first on the Australian leg of the tour and it seems like a lifetime ago. I have the best photo of Jarvis poking his head through his legs......

I flew back home to Sydney today and sort of have to ween myself back into the real world of not seeing JC 4 times a week.

Met a few Pulp fanatics and hopefully, (as Mr Cocker himself said), he seems to come out here every 2 and a half years. Heres to 2011, hope so sooner though.

I have a tonne of photos so I will go through them in the next day or so and put them up on my Flickr and post a link.

Just uploaded some photos from Jarvis Australian Tour on my flickr. Have plenty more.....

They're not the best, but they sort of tell a story of a massive week flying around the country...

enjoy :)

It was very good indeed!

Jarvis talking about Melbourne slang and if he sings to Albert. Jarvis said Yes, but Albert tells him to Shut up sometimes.

Peter Garrett seemed to be a fan of Mr Cocker? and he came through on the last round and won it for his team!
