Surprised not to find a thread on this yet:

http://www.clubtickets.com/gb/2009-11/11/jarvis-cocker-makes-an-exhibition-of-himself-again-live-

(Unless there is one and I'm missing the obvious as usual.)

I was really envious of those who got to see the Paris Gallery residency, so I'm made up to find that I'll get a second chance, and a lot closer to home this time. I'm looking forward to it already.

I'm slightly confused about the odd ticketing arrangements though; Jarvis is there from 9th to 11th Nov, but all you can buy a ticket for on that site is the 11th.  Does this mean you canturn up for free on any afternoon, and only the big finale gig requires a ticket? Seems a bit strange that you can get to see Jarvis free for 18 hours, and then have to pay £30 just for a single gig at the end.  Maybe I'm misreading it.

Also that clubtickets.com site gives me suspicious looking messges about secuity certificates, which doesn't fill me with confidence either.

(Oh and the residency was briefly mentioned in the Metro this morning too, only they said it was Nov 7th to 11th instead.  But I'm guessing that would be a misprint?)

It´s been talked about a bit on the thread about Pulp possibly reforming.

One thing I´m a bit surprised by - I thought Jarvis was going to do a full UK tour in November, both to coincide with this and the Girls Like It Too single. Nowt´s been said though. I know he´s off to Oz for a lot of gigs in December but I thought domestic dates would have been announced for before then. A bit late now for any November tour announcement. And he never played Sheffield this year. Tut-tut.

Oops that's what I get for reading thread title / first few posts and assuming I know what the rest is gonna be about.

Anyway it's important enough to merit its own thread imho, especially come November when people will have their own experiences to share.

Hey everyone, did you enjoy this? I was there on Tue and enjoyed a couple of hours of jamming. It was very quiet in the morning, felt like a very intimate affair.
I loved the fact that anyone could go and join him on stage, I felt so guttered I can't play any instruments! Loved when there was a violin and a flute on stage, it got to sound a bit like a Brian Jonestown massacre moment.
