I'm planning to get my hands on "Ultimate Live" at some point during the next few weeks, but I need to know a couple of things before I do, particularly about the F.e.e.l.i.n.g.c.a.l.l.e.d.l.i.v.e section.
a) Acrylic afternoons mentioned a manufaturing flaw that affected the sound quality. Does this flaw occur in later versions on the disk?
b)Does it still feature the little band vignettes narrated by Robert Hulse that were quite amusing?
What timing! I just got mine in the mail today. I watched The Park Is Mine first. Loved it! They sounded, and looked, great! Mmmm Steve.....,,,anyhoo, I was actually going to come on here and mention to you that I thought Mark looked in good spirits, and there were plenty of close ups of him. I never really noticed how charming he is. Played an excellent show. Upon first viewing my favourite was Sylvia, which, oddly enough, is a song I often skip.
I'll go have a look and report back on Feeling Called Live.
:edit:
I haven't seen the VHS, so I can't really confirm if my version is in fact flawed, but after watching 'I Spy' it sounds maybe just a touch lower than it should be. I wouldn't say it ruins the show. The transfer looks great. The tour videos are on it as well.
:edit 2:
It's quite noticeable now as I watch more. A tad annoying.

To answer the first question, the playback of the entire concert is noticeably slower than the original VHS release, affecting the pitch of the songs and making the band sometimes sound out of key.
