i suppose you mean multiformats ? i was wondering that as well, but i havent seen anything about a CD or a digital release, sadly.

We've probably seen the last Jarvis CD single. These limited edition 7'' records seem to be the Rough Trade way. I don't suppose (m)any people buy CD singles anymore.

But surely they'll make the b-side available digitally. Pretty ridiculous otherwise.

Received the vinyl. its really weird (maybe its my turntable though), sounds like the velvet underground, dirty dirty guitars.

Were the Jarvis b-sides available digitally? If so, must've been UK-only or something. Last I checked, they weren't on iTunes U.S.

They were, but Big Stuff and One Man Show seem to have disappeared from 7Digital and emusic; you can still get The Loss Adjuster (mis-spelled), the wholly inessential Jarvcast The Mouse The Bird & The Sausage, and a ropey remix of Fat Children, though.

The title of this song suggests a sequel to "Dishes". Has Jarvis found that he is, in fact, Jesus, after all.

I was actually going to ask if Big Stuff is still comercially available as a CD or mp3. Hearing it live this week has caused me to want to listen to it more than previously. I have the 7" single of Don't let him waste your time with big Stuff as the b-side, but I'd prefer it on other formats.

Anyone know where I might find it?

It's 4.40 mins long and it sounds like it's out of the velvet's debut. i suppose digitally the sound would be a bit cleaner though. Quite psyché as some reviewers said, dirty guitars, weird sounds and heavy drums. At the end of the song, the backing band sing and repeat "looking for god" a few times, and that's almost exactly the same melody as the end of caucasian blues...

I like the song a lot, I'm quite annoyed it's not out digitally!

The 'looking for god' bit at the end really reminds me of Looking For Life more than anything. Not just the words, but the melody too.

Yeah, like "Mucky Fingers" or "Lord Don't Slow Me Down". I think "Looking for God" ended up as a b-side because it's more 60s rock than the rest of the album. In a German newspaper (by the way: German magazines absolutely love the album) a critic wrote Further Complications "sounds like the very last album of the 70s".

that's true, very late oasis sounding too. i wish it was available digitally, i made a rip for my ipod but it sounds weird compared to the rest of the tracks.

Will probably be a bit on the pricey side but definitely worth it for these two...

So, no digital availability? I remember purchasing the b-sides from 'Jarvis' on 7Digital from the U.S. I have no means of playing vinyl. Why, why, why make your music inaccessible? This is sheer frustration for a fan...

Yep, frustrating. I'll have to buy the vinyl when I get home where there's a record player, (then see if I can transfer it to a computer). Quite humbling in this era of the digital music file!
