===========   All in this email I was sent =========

Friends of Jarvis,

This month you'll have regular opportunities to catch the elusive
Jarvis on your radios, where he'll be performing songs, chatting with
various disc jockeys and even co hosting. The times and dates of these
sessions are below along with helpful 'Listen Again' links that enable
you to travel back in radio time and hear the show up to seven days
after it first aired, which you'll already have to do with yesterday's
Radcliffe & Maconie appearance.

June 8th - 20:00

BBC Radio 2 with Radcliffe and Maconie Listen Again

'Angela', the first single from "Further Complications.", is to be
released on limited 7" and with just 1000 copies being pressed and an
exclusive B Side entitled 'I Found Myself Looking For God', you'll
have to be quick to get one! You can view its video here

public from the front steps of Gallery Chappe. You can grab yourself a

There are also chances to catch Jarvis live in person this month as
amongst other things he'll be headlining Glastonbury's John Peel tent
on Saturday June 27th, an event that's sure to be spectacular!
Thankfully it'll be televised and inevitably become available through
BBC iPlayer, so no one should miss out.

Jarvis' regular tour still continues throughout June upon which he'll
soon play two gigs with special support from The Horrors, a band who
never fail to entertain live. You can catch them both in Brighton on
the 16th or London on the 17th. There's also upcoming dates in Glasgow
(12th), Nottingham (14th) and Athens (19th). Tickets for all of these
events are almost sold out so don't delay and get some here

With all this meedja promotion, I'm surprised and disappointed that he's not doing a slot on Later with Jools Holland as he's always done before with a new solo/Pulp lp.

Haha...David Dimbleby wasn't going to let the show end without making sure Jarvis was asked that question!

But well handled by Jarvis I thought!

DD: But do you think he was a genius as a performer?
JC: (short pause) He invented the moonwalk.

I thought Jarvis came across rather well on that; he didn't say much, but everything he did say was well-measured and free from the party-political waffle of most of the other panelists. And we finally got to hear him comment on the Michael Jackson thing too.

He also said that the real tragedy about MJ was that he hadn't made a record (or was it a good record?) for 20 years.

I hadn't particularly noticed before tonight, how slowly Jarvis speaks, especially compared with the politicians that try to cram as much in as possible when it's their turn to speak. Don't know if it's just me, but although it's kind of endearing, it also makes you slightly on edge for Jarvis, that he might have forgotten what he wants to say!

'Course I missed it by dint of being at the (superb) Blur gig!
I'm glad to hear he didn't make a tit of himself tho', I had been worried!
