Jarvis was at the Bataclan last night. Good gig overall, most (if not all ?) of the album played, a few oldies from the debut, no pulp song and no sign of Girls Like it Too if you were wondering, but still... three encores !
And his French is getting better. He was really chatty and his gig is now half music half comedy really.
(sorry dont have time to make a full review but maybe some other paris resident will ?)
No 'Running The World' then? It's a shame that one has left the set as it seemed to be such a great crowd pleaser. How awkward.
edit = I have just twigged. Mr Bush has gone now hasn't he?! I must have been out that night! How stupid!

Bush may be gone, but there are still plenty more cunts left in charge. He could be singing that song til his retirement (heavan forbid it) and it still wouldn't be irrelevant!
No more cover cos he doesn't need to. Apparently he's doing another tour in the autumn, hopefully we'll hear all/most of the four as yet unreleased songs from the album recording sessions. Though I have a feeling he'll try out one or two of them (The Night They Left Me Out Of The Home most likely) during the UK set of gigs this week.
Amsterdam gig was superb. Jarvis and the band had a great time, so it looked.
The setlist was similar to the above, the only difference was having Caucasian Blues instead of the F#ckingsong. I would have loved to have both of them but, oh well. Caucasian Blues showcased Jarvis' talents in playing the flute. Quite a highlight.
Jarvis was in the sharing spirit once more, it's always worth it standing first row... I got a grape from Jarvis (a red and sweet one) and also a fantastic can of beer (Stella Artois, probably they bought too many the previous night in Belgium). Anyway, there always seems to be an added value when going to see good ol' Jarv.
