I heard Jarvis is in jail in Austin right now for partying too hard at SXSW...can anyone confirm? And why the fuck didn't anyone bother to mention that he was going to be there? You people are supposed to be on top of things.
It's okay to grow up. Just as long as you don't grow old. Face it, you are young.
As for SXSW, he wasn't playing live - just giving his Song Lyrics conference. Probably in the States overseeing the final mixing of the album and thought he'd pop over to the festival. Possibly not the wisest idea if this story is true.

A band member visiting Austin for SXSW was arrested last night after he attacked a security guard and played a hotel piano naked, according to an arrest affidavit said.
Police were called to the Hilton Hotel on East Fifth Street about 2:45 a.m. Thursday morning after a report of two men running around, taking off their clothes and playing the piano on the sixth floor, the affidavit says.

Police say Michael Anderson Jarvis and Samuel Martin were asked several times by hotel workers to put their clothes back on. The workers eventually called security, according to the affidavit. When security guard Robert Rios arrived, Jarvis was sitting at the piano trying to play it and Martin was standing on a bench, refusing to put on his clothes.
Jarvis ran at Rios and punched the guard three times on the left side of his face, the affidavit says. Rios wrestled Jarvis to the ground and waited for police to arrive.
Jarvis and Martin told police they were in a band and in town for SXSW, according to the affidavit. They told police that they thought it would be funny if Martin took off his clothes and ran around.
Jarvis was charged with felony assault on a public servant with bail set at $7,500. It was unclear Friday if Martin had been arrested or charged.
