Not sure whether I need to buy Different Class again for about the 7th time! May give it a miss unless the bonuses or packaging are something really special.
Would probably only buy it if it was on vinyl, ideally with the changeable covers. Only have two copies, unlike His 'n' Hers where I have had 4 (but one is long dead).
Well considering that there was an unnecessary remaster less than 3 years ago and that all previously unreleased songs were plundered for that same release, I would imagine that this anniversary edition will involve a disc of live recordings of the material on the album or a DVD of a live Different Class era performance.
I've long thought that a DVD of Pulp at Glastonbury would be fantastic - one disc containing footage of the legendary 1995 gig (complete with commentary from present day Pulp on the significance of the concert) and a second disc featuring their '94 and ' 98 appearances. Maybe, we'll at least get the '95 footage spruced-up here.
And I wonder if the group were approached to reform for an Island anniversary gig?

I agree - if there's one Pulp item we really should be able to buy in the shops, it's this. Does the whole thing even circulate on VHS? Channel 4 showed about half of it at the time but that's all I've ever seen. I think there might have been some rumour of the whole thing being shown in Australia at some point?

What was the entire setlist? Cause I have a dvd of it, and the tracklisting is:
01. Intro 02. Do You Remember the First Time 03. Razzamatazz 04. Monday Morning 05. Underwear 06. Sorted For E's and Whiz 07. Disco 2000 08. Joyriders 09. Acrylic Afternoons 10. Mishapes 11. Pink Glove 12. Babies 13. Common People
But according to a blog I just found, they also played Something Changed and I Spy AFTER Common People as the final two songs of the set. I find this extremely unlikely, as I'm sure that Jarv says his goodbyes after common people, and it seems strange to close the set with two new songs.
Anyway, the blog offered a download of the performance so I'll wait and see:
That is indeed the entire setlist for Glasto '95. Would love to get hold of that - where's your copy from? Is the quality decent?
I Spy and Something Changed weren't played - the blog person probably got his copy from the Pulp Live CD, which has those songs tacked onto the end from the Jools Holland show - see http://www.pulpwiki.net/Pulp/PulpLiveBootleg

Plus it's interspersed with interviews too, I'd forgotten about that! The quality is fine- visual quality is your average recorded-off-the-tv-in-the-1990s, basically good, and the audio is excellent. There does seem to be a minimum order of 5 dvds from the website though, which there wasn't when I bought it, but the dvds are only £1.20 each and there's loads of stuff actually. Recommended.
Another lady! I think talking about bands is generally more a man thing, and collecting records too. Although Eamonn is right - there doesn't seem to be any shortage of female fans at his gigs.
Yes - and look how much better it is than that other one! Does this mean it's ok to talk about how sexy Jarvis is now?! Prefered him without the beard though. Sorry, of course it's always about the music first!
YES it is. I'm a bit embarrassed scene he's way much older than me but my oh my goooooooooooood he was really hot back in the days.. Well sometimes he's beard is ok and sometimes not..if he has short hair it's alright
ArrGee wrote:"New physical and digital versions of all the 50 classic albums." That's too literal for me! When they said physical I didn't expect they meant for wearing....
