Hey, what exactly did he say about The Fratellis? I couldn't quite make it out. I thought he said something like: "They may sound manufactured and inauthentic to you, but The Fratellis are [the winners]".

Then when The Fratellis got up on stage, I thought they were going to hit him. There was a real moment of hesitation, like Jarv was genuinely scared.

Did anyone else catch that?

I'm fairly sure it was along the lines of "they may sound like ice cream manufacturers" rather than anything particularly insulting

That's definitely possible.

There was a loud commotion in my house when Jarvis came on, and I missed most of what he said.

But I still think that drunk Fratelli dude was ready to pounce. It was an awkward exchange. Anyone have it tivo'd?

one of them bent over and walked backwards towards him a la jarvis' brit awards '96 appearance. then jarvis mouths something (he was away from the mic at this point) like, 'that's exactly right' or something and gives a pretty bitchy smirk. then jarvis is simply trying to hand off the trophy to one of them so he can get away from the lecturn. there weren't any good vibes coming from jarvis, i didn't think.
