No, not The Fear as some of you had been clamouring for, but two songs made their second appearances this tour this evening: Monday Morning (in for Mis-Shapes/Joyriders) and Bad Cover Version (in the encore with Razzmatazz and Glory Days).
Exciting that these songs are getting another airing, and suggests that the likes of Lipgloss and Dishes could too at some point. Potentially they're shuffling the deck with a view to their US shows? Which I might expect to be a little more oriented towards Hardcore as it's their bestselling album there. Maybe The Fear and Party Hard might come back.
Anyway, that setlist... gosh. I mean the performances are already top-notch and a-dream-come-true and everything (and my word do they sound good these days), but now I am positively DREAMING of attending another UK show! I mean I don't see how Hogmanay could be topped (Background Noise into Lipgloss into Monday Morning into Like a Friend... oh man), that was a dream experience! But I'm very excited now and hoping we might see them over here again at Christmas...
Love the clip of Jarvis going blank at the beginning of Common People and restarting the song. Clearly distracted himself by pretending to start singing I Love Life at the beginning!
