I hope you joined-in with the dance moves to Homewrecker.

Fcuk yeah! I did the whole audience participation thing. Was a blast!

Hoping for another show in Hackney in the not too distant future. Nice to not have too far to travel home at the end of the night, though it would have helped if I didn't have to walk the whole length of Victoria Park and back again.

With regards to The Strokes performance, the sound was poor, the vocals in particular kept cutting-in and out at different volumes. It wasn't as if there was any wind, I'm not sure what the issue was and why they couldn't fix it. It also meant Julian Casablancas' between-songs chat which is usually pretty woeful anyway, was inaudible most of the time and he spent as much of the pauses between songs with his back turned to the audience, addressing his own band, as he did connecting with the crowd.

Of course you go to The Strokes to hear them plough through their three-minute guitar bangers but I think it would have been better if they had let more songs run into each other to keep momentum going rather than stop, regroup, talk in a mumbled, inaudible manner and restart.

I saw Strokes at Alexandra Palace back in 2003 and they were superb. Yesterday there was a disconnect. Did improve as it went on, but not as good as it was back then.

Whereas with Jarvis, the new shows are a throwback to the early 1990s Pulp pre-Intro. Exciting cos you don't know what to expect.

The sound issues for The Strokes completely wrecked their set.

Jarvis' mic had a bit crackle on it but he chucked it away when he did the crowd surf & things improved after.

No such problems with volume. When he first came on I thought the bass was gonna make my nose bleed!

Oh I saw them there then too.  Ended up at a bar getting drunk in the venue I think.  Also saw them headline Leeds, can't remember what year, 2002?  Me and my pal wondered off bored and went on a big wheel instead

I assume you're after the physical releases? The various versions are all available on iTunes.

The physical versions in 12" (four, I think, different type of artwork sleeves) do exist, they were on sale for £15 each at Chat's Palace.
