Had a lovely little chat about Room 29 and Scott Walker.  Unfortunately I couldn't think of any good probing questions but he confirmed that Scott was present at The Albert Hall and that he loved that concert. He talked a bit about Room 29 and how it is intended as a live show with a plot line to it and that the album is intended as a soundtrack to that. I wish I had asked him about the lyrics a bit more (possibly being a bit This Is Hardcore direction).

Anyway - if it has uploaded properly ... I did get a little photograph - Photographer credit goes to no other than Mr Albert Cocker!

Nice photo! You remind me of somebody famous... but I can't put my finger on who...

I got close to buying tickets for that Edinburgh show. The Room 29 live performance looked quite special (online). Just baulked at the hotel cost during the festival. And I didn't fancy travelling back after.  Now I'm an old gadgey, I've gone off getting home much after midnight. I reckon we miss a lot of special experiences as we get older - get too timid, and start to retreat in ever decreasing circles. I bet it was a grand show, and I was too chicken, and too miserly too see for myself.
