Can't zoom in very well, but is that a tabloid or real Mag article? Found it earlier.

As far as I'm aware News of the World was a pretty shit tabloid paper, & made up loads of stuff & was involved in a number of scandals. Jarvis has a pretty clear opinion on it:

The author is "Lunchtime O'Booze" so it may not be entirely accurate.

Jarvis and Pulp did end up in the tabloids a lot, especially after The Brits '96.  Argh! And when that Kate Thornton swine wrote that stupid 'Ban This Sick Stunt' article, that really annoyed me at the time, seemed an attempt to sabotage Pulp who were finally enjoying long delayed success.  I was heard to mutter 'Ban This Thick *unt' for some months afterward.

The pic posted here does look a bit dubious though - the colouring of the Pulp bit doesn't quite match the rest.  Isn't Lunchtime O'Booze a Private Eye byline?

To the best of my abilities this may or may not be what it actually says, it's quite hard to read:

"THE DEVOTED wife of Pulp superstar Jarvis Cocker has lifted the lid on her secret years of quiet living with Britain's supermarket singer.

Lorraine Cocker, 45, married ... Cocker in 1985 when he was still struggling on the dole in Sheffield... and hasn't had a whiff of sex since!

Jarvis's ... has been a sham for years, the ... where Jarvis ... twin nine-year olds Darren and Daryl have lived in secret since 1987. Their wedding night was a downer. "He was in and out so quickly I didn't have time to turn the lights out," says Lorraine. Since then, Jarvis hasn't...

SHELLSUIT

"He's always ...

DRINKING

I've...

How ill is Jarvis?

Close friend of Jarvis Cocker were spoke yesterday of their concern for the Pulp star's health after he was seen leaving a private clinic in Leeds last week. Worried about the singer's low weight and gaunt appearance, they fear that he may be suffering from a mystery illness. Despite his wife Lorraine's shock revelation about his quiet life, Jarvis' ... is legendary, leading to his band Pulp's enormous popularity in France"

I had to google Private Eye, but yes, Lunchtime O'Booze is one of their "journalists". Seems this is a bit of nonsense that's been convincingly photoshopped onto News of the World
