Very sad news about Deborah's fight with cancer, but in the same breath, great recognition for her work for others in the New Year's Honours. I had been worried since she hadn't made any blog entries since 9th December and talked about feeling really ill trying alternative treatment after her stem cell transplant failed.

Sad. I'll have to avoid the Nick Cave '2000' for the foreseeable future; too much.

Part of our youth is gone with her.

May she rest in peace.

Of course this is really sad news. The last I'd heard about her was when Jarvis sang at her birthday a couple of years back. It's great to now know about her achievements but not so by the means I had to find out. The NYE honours list is a fitting acknowledgment to her work
