I have just seen this tweet claiming Jarv will be playing a couple of secret gigs in Glasgow next weekend if anyone is in the area (I'm on my way out, haven't got time to folow it up and see who this person is, sorry):

But Jarv is there for this film festival thing, so sounds plausible.

If he's dipping his toe into solo live gigs maybe he'll do Glasto then.

Might it mean he has some new material to try out in a quiet corner? He has admitted recently that he is "trying to be creative".

Yeah maybe. He's always at Glasto these days anyway so it wouldn't surprise me. They'll probably be showing the Pulp film too.

Don't get too excited. It appears to be a DJ set both Friday & Saturday during an arty film festival.

That does seem rather more plausible, although would that be sufficiently exciting for all this secret, unticketed malarkey?

I think because it's in a nightclub - then you wouldn't usually have tickets on sale. They are showing lots of BBC documentaries & Jarvis is there the the capacity of them screening The Big Melt.

Maybe the special surprise at DocFest is Jarv & Steve on the wheels of steel..? They're no Freddie Fresh but they do play some interesting bits & pieces.

That would be ace :) I've never been to a Desperate night.
